Adtran's Polycom series is where you will find most of the phones Adtran has to offer. The Polycom series offers integrated POE support, three-way conferencing, full-duplex speaker, and SIP compatibility, among other features.The most basic phones that Adtranoffers are:

  • Polycom IP 300 series. Most of 300 series phones can be both desk or wall mounted and feature an RJ-22 headset jack. The IP 321 has only a single 10/100 Ethernet port, while the IP 331 and IP 335 feature a dual-port 10/100 Ethernet switch to support network connectivity. The IP 335 also features a high resolution backlit graphic display and a dedicated RJ-9 headset port. 

  • The IP 400 series. It features a dual-port 10/100 Ethernet switch, a high resolution backlit graphic display,  a dedicated RJ-9 headset port, and a built-in XHTMLmicrobrowser. The IP 430 is a two-line phone, while the IP 450 is a three-line phone.  

  • The IP 500 series. This features four lines and a backlit 320 x 160 pixel greyscaleLCD. The IP 560 supports GigE-based network infrastructure. 

  • The IP 600 series are six-line phones that are expandable up to twelve lines. This series also features Polycom HD Voice technology which gives the IP 600 series phones superior sound quality. Like the IP 560, the IP 600 series has integratedGigE support.
    The IP 600 series also offer a USB port for future applications. 

  • The last in the series is the Adtran IP 700 series. This series offers easy configuration and programming, a bright LCD with clear icons, and a user-friendly web interface. The IP 706 supports up to six lines, while the IP 712 supports up to twelve lines.  

If you are looking for conference phones, the Polycom series also boast two main conference phones. All of the Adtran phone system conference phones have high-resolution backlit LED displays. 

  • The IP 5000 is ideal for smaller conference rooms. It offers superb sound quality, has voice activity detection, and uses background noise suppression. 

  • For larger conference rooms, there is the IP 6000. The microphone will pick up sounds up to 12 feet away, perfect for conference rooms that will accommodate up to 12 people.  

Like all the Polycom series phones, both the the IP 5000 and IP 6000 are SIP compatible and have built in POE, or can be purchased in an AC model. For conference rooms that hold more than 12 people, there is the IP 7000 model. This model picks up sound up to 20 ft away and also has a built in 2.5mm jack to enable mobile phone use when no network connection is available. 

If you are not just looking for phones, but instead for an IP phone system, Adtran offers the Netvanta 7100. This is all-in-one box designed for small businesses that are looking to limit the cost of starting up an IP phone system. 

  • The Netvanta 7100 has a limited feature set and is unsuitable for larger businesses as it only supports up to 50 stations. It is, of course, SIP friendly. It offers standard features such ad internal voicemail and music-on-hold input, as well as a variety of other features. The biggest pro for this system is that it does not require advanced technical support or knowledge to run.
